Charles E. Richards, of Glenwood Springs, died Feb. 24. He was 45 years old.

Born in Queens, N.Y., Richards worked in the Roaring Fork Valley as a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Richards, and a son, Timothy E. Richards, both of Glenwood Springs.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of New Castle.
