Change?
Dear Editor:
Seriously folks, is there anybody in the country much less on the planet that doesn’t see the “omnibus” and “stimulus” bills for what they are? Or do you accept New York’s Shumer belief that it’s not of concern to us “little people.”
How about Congressman Obey who views the earmarks as “table scraps.” Twenty billion dollars of table scraps.
The administration and Congress just wraps this up as “emergency” funding and here you have it: grape and wine research, marine aquaculture, seal and sea lion protection, golf education, more telescopes for SETI, fish migration studies, and oyster revitalization for Joe Biden’s Delaware coast. Voice your concerns now while there’s still a chance to shame them into reducing/eliminating their pet projects.
Is this the change you voted for?
