Cash reward offered in robbery case

Aspen Times Staff Report

The Garfield County Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who robbed Aspen’s Stage 3 Theatres on Jan. 2.

To date, the Aspen Police Department has not made any arrests in connection with the incident.

Ron Vanmeter, coordinator of the Garfield County Crimestoppers, said he hopes the reward will be incentive enough for anyone with information to come forward. He stressed that the identity of anyone who calls Crimestoppers is not revealed.

Anyone with information about the masked gunman who robbed the Stage 3 Theatres of more than $1,000 on Jan. 2 is urged to contact Crimestoppers at 945-0101.
