Carl E. Feldon, 65, of Aspen, Colo. and formerly of Beloit, Wis., died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at home in Los Angeles, Calif., surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 28, 1946 in Beloit, Wis., the son of Carl J. and June (Goessel) Feldon. Carl was a 1964 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.Carl owned and operated Aspen Limo Service in Aspen for many years. He was an adventurous person, traveling extensively around the world to places such as Mexico, Costa Rica and Afghanistan. Carl enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking, backpacking, skiing, golfing and fishing. Survivors include his mother, June Feldon of Beloit, Wis.; sister Paula Hayes and brother Curt Feldon, both of Beloit; four nieces and nephews – Hank Hayes and Ned Hayes, both of Colorado, Corey Feldon of Washington and Danielle Feldon of Wyoming; aunt and uncle Nancy and Bill Goessel of Florida; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father.The family would like to give a special thank you to Carl’s cousins, Chris and Tracey, who took such good care of him during his illness. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wis., with Rev. Jonah Burakowski officiating.
