Carbondale celebrates Bonedale Bike Week

CARBONDALE – Carbondale is marking National Bike to Work Week with a special celebration called Bonedale Bike Week through Friday.

The event features activities throughout the week and culminates with a Pedal Parade at 5:30 p.m. Friday followed by the Bike Bash Grand Finale Party, both at the Carbondale Recreation Center.

There will be free coffee, tea and snacks for cyclists at Fourth and Main streets from 7 to 9 a.m. each day. Other highlights include a bike-in movie at Crystal River Meats on Fourth Street at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and a biking scavenger hunt starting at Aloha Mountain Cyclery at 5 p.m. Thursday.
