Can’t have it both ways

Dear Editor:

Some will see this as an attack – it’s not – it’s a plea for fairness.

If having a vested interest in something (vacation rentals, construction development, hydro rights, helicopter filming etc.) automatically makes an opinion on those matters biased and untrustworthy, why are people who live in employee housing allowed to vote on funding for employee housing?

I’m tired of the double standard. It’s time to start casting a nonpartisan eye on the content of the opinion.
