Supporters of Sen. Barack Obama’s bid for the Democratic presidential nomination are invited to the second local “Obama House Party” at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21.
The free gathering will be at the home of Blanca and Cavanaugh O’Leary, 1500 Silver King Drive (off Cemetery Lane). Refreshments will include pizza, beer, wine and soft drinks. Among the topics to be discussed will be the Feb. 5 precinct caucus meetings, scheduled for the Rio Grande Conference Room in the former youth center building, 455 Rio Grande Place ” next to the city parking garage.

Local supporters of Congressman Ron Paul’s (R-Texas) presidential campaign continue their weekly meetings at the Pitkin County Library basement meeting room at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22.
The meetings are mainly organizational in nature and provide an opportunity for supporters to discuss the campaign and get ready for the Feb. 5 precinct caucus meetings, which are to be held at the Aspen Square conference room in Aspen.
