Calling local medical professionals

Dear Editor:

Thank you to Dr. Tom Pevny of Aspen Orthopaedic Associates and Libby Pettit, DPT of Roaring Fork Physical Therapy, for volunteering their time on Oct. 6 to provide a cadaver knee dissection, interpretation of physical findings, and exam demonstration to our area medical professionals. The goal of this educational session was to offer a knowledge and skills refresher course to our local medical professionals in preparation for the busy winter season.

All Roaring Fork Valley medical professionals are invited to join Tom and Libby on Tuesday, Oct. 20, for a cadaver shoulder dissection that will include interpretation of physical finding and exam demonstration. This educational session will begin at 6 p.m. in the Mid-Valley Surgery Center, located at 1450 E. Valley Road in Basalt.
