Call me crazy

Dear Editor:

Why are we giving more money to banks to lend? All was fine while Mr. Smith was spending.

Now, let’s say, if Mr. Smith has no money, or is afraid to spend what he does have, why would Mr. Manufacture want to borrow money from Mr. Bank to make more products for Mr. Smith not to buy? Seems to me we need to get more money for Mr. Smith to spend in lieu of giving Mr. Bank more money he cannot lend.
