Buyers beware
Dear Editor:
The new rip-off-Joe-Blow scam in places like Wal-Mart and Target is posting the wrong prices under articles on the shelves, or no price at all next to a lower-priced article that is very similar.
There are several variations of the same theme. So you get to the check-out counter with a large basket of things after waiting in line for a long time and they assume you will not notice or cave in and pay $1 for a mouthful of mouthwash instead of 50 cents.
This hasn’t happened to me once in the past six months … it happens every single time I go into one of these stores.
