Dear Editor:One of the charges President Bush makes against Sen. Kerry is that Kerry just isn’t up to the job to take on international terrorism. However, unlike Bush, Kerry has actually fought in a foreign war, face-to-face with his opponents. He personally shot and killed an attacker with a rifle. Since then, Kerry has some two decades of Senate experience helping to solve problems facing the United States all over the world. What were George Bush’s qualifications when he became president of the leading country in the world? The president forgets that he didn’t even have a passport. Patrick HunterCarbondale
