Bush, not Rall, a stain on the times

I cannot disagree more with the comment of Mr. Michael Smith on Oct. 1 expressing dissatisfaction with Ted Rall’s column of Sept. 30.

Mr. Smith, we humans surround ourselves with like-minded individuals, often to a fault. It is quite apparent that your political views support Bush and his politics, and I am sure that many of your friends agree with that support and share your point of view.

Consider, please, that there is another population out there who see this country going to hell in a handbasket, details of which do not need to be discussed. Consider, please, that there is a very large following who absolutely agree with Ted Rall and actually applaud The Aspen Times for being a vehicle for his point of view, as we agree with him, and we surround ourselves with friends who share our/Ted Rall’s point of view. And no, we are not of low intelligence, but rather people willing to actually think for themselves and see through the lies being fed to the world.

The Aspen Times titled your letter to the editor as “Rall a stain on the Times.” The only stain on the times is Bush in these current years.

Thank you, Aspen Times, for allowing Ted Rall’s voice to be heard.
