Bus merger benefits

Dear Editor:Thank you for your article on the potential joining of the RFTA and ECO bus systems. That is an awesome idea, and I welcome your continuing coverage of the story.I personally would use such a connection for transportation to and from the Eagle airport, which often has more flyable weather in winter.I also travel to Vail and Leadville in winter and summer, for hut trips in the 10th Mountain Hut system. Imagine accessing the trailhead on a public bus all the way from Aspen! Imagine taking a weeklong ski tour between Aspen and Vail, and catching a public bus all the way back home!What a great way to forget about $4-a-gallon fuel. Michael ThompsonBasalt
