Burlingame open house set in Aspen

Aspen Times staff report
Aspen, CO Colorado

ASPEN – The city of Aspen is inviting the public to offer input on the design of the next phase of its Burlingame Ranch worker housing during an open house on Tuesday.

The session takes place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Rio Grande meeting room (former youth center).

“As community members, you have unique knowledge about what this community needs when it comes to affordable housing,” said Chris Everson, city affordable housing project manager, in a press release. “The design team would like to hear your valuable input.”

Feedback and comments at the open house will be recorded, but citizens are welcome to drop by at any time during the informal event to offer their thoughts. Topics will include: introduction of the design team, process and schedule; the agreement on density for the housing development; site constraints and opportunities; the concept master plan; and housing development and policy.

Food and beverages will be provided.
