Both born in Aspen, Trevi Burkholder and Jeremy Bennett were married on the summer solstice, June 21, in the upper field at T-Lazy 7 Ranch in the Maroon Creek Valley.Burkholder is the daughter of Mardell and Craton Burkholder of Aspen. Bennett is the son of Toni and Steve Sanders of Westminster, and Linda and Steve Bennett of Denver.

The couple met in the Roaring Fork Valley. Burkholder is an artist and reggae DJ TreviB on Aspen Public Radio. She is also an assistant at the Children’s Health Foundation, an Aspen nonprofit. Bennett is an artist and techno DJ Jero playing various venues. He is also the manager of the local deli Johnny McGuire’s.The ceremony was conducted by Jeremy’s younger brother, Shannon Sanders. Sabrina Dreffer was the goddess of honor; Megan DiSabatino and Christie Garofolo were also brides goddesses. Loui Smith and Taylor Thoms were the beautiful flower girls, with Cameron Luker as the ring bearer. Jonathan Bennett was the best man along with Trent Burkholder.

The arch for the ceremony was created by Eric Smith and amazing caricatures by Chester Hansen. The reception was held at the Maroon Bells Lodge with Bobby Yang and His Unrivaled Players.Big thanks to Joan and Emmerich for the cake, to Bartlett for coordinating, and to the photographers MarySue Bonetti and Bernard Arnt. The newlyweds honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, the land of Sol. Love to all the friends and families who attended – it was the perfect day!
