Burgers King coming to Aspen

Dear Editor:Regarding Mr. Schaffer’s letter to the editor (Aspen Times, March 29) supporting individual property owners’ rights to do whatever they please with their property, I’m in complete agreement. So much so in fact, that my partners and I are negotiating to purchase lots next to the homes of Mr. Schaffer, Mr. Lewis and Mr. Semrau. We plan on constructing a Burger King, a Pizza Hut and a Tasty Freeze. These are products with a proven track record, consumed by millions of people daily. We’re confident that the citizens of the upper valley will enjoy not having to trek downvalley to have their burgers, pizza and ice cream. My partners and I will enjoy stuffing our pockets full of all the yummy profits from these businesses. In appreciation of what I’m sure will be Mr. Schaffer’s, Mr. Lewis’ and Mr. Semrau’s unqualified spiritual endorsement of these projects, we would like to offer them a small discount whenever they choose to dine with us. Bon appetit.Michael Cleverly LLCWoody Creek
