Building tolerant communities

The Intercultural Community Builders (ICB) nonprofit held a three-day teaching event this past weekend at the Basalt Library. The ICB teaches skills that improve people’s ability to interact and work together more effectively for the benefit of the entire community.

We would like to thank Kristen Becker, director, and Emily Fahey of the Basalt Library for generously offering the use of the community room and for funding scholarships so that this event could take place. Kudos also to the staff that generously gave their time to open the library so that this training event occurred in a timely fashion.
