‘Bubby’s Kitchen’ comes to Aspen District Theater
The Aspen Jewish Congregation’s annual winter fundraiser will feature the one-woman show “Bubby’s Kitchen,” starring Shira Ginsburg, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the Aspen District Theater.
The congregation describes “Bubby’s Kitchen” as “one woman’s true story of growing up in a family of Holocaust survivors and resistance fighters. Mixing three cups of wisdom for every two cups of matzo meal, Shira Ginsburg weaves together a story of love and laughter, of loss and survival, and of food and family. With her stories, Yiddish, liturgical and musical theatre music, Shira will have you laughing and crying in one breath.”
General admission tickets are $36 and can be bought at aspenshowtix.com or at the Wheeler Box Office.
Patron tickets, at $250, and underwriter tickets, at $2,000, can be bought by calling 970-925-8245 ext. 5.
