Bring on the noise

Dear Editor:

I do believe Aspen has reached an all-time low on the customer-service scale. Have we not forgotten that we are a resort town and that our jobs and many of our livelihoods rely on our guests? Instead of welcoming our guests, we spend our taxpayers’ money posting signs to quiet everyone down! How ridiculous can we get? Should we not put our money and energy into better causes, like helping to place the 17 families that lost everything in the recent Castle Ridge fire? Instead, we seem to feel the need to tell our guests and community members that spend their hard-earned money in Aspen to quiet down or you’re not welcome.

Let’s get our priorities straight and stop the madness! Let us look at the bigger picture here, rather than the petty nature of a few in town.
