Aspen Hope Center forum is Wednesday
The Aspen Hope Center will host its second Community Forum on Mental Health at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Roaring Fork High School auditorium in Carbondale. The free event hopes to draw in community members who want to know more about the issue of suicide, mental health and its effect on the community.
The Wednesday forum will include information on what to do and say if you encounter someone you think might be considering suicide. The evening also will include personal stories of courage, a panel discussion that includes experts on substance abuse, the disabled community, teens and adolescents, and the gay and lesbian community.
For more information on the forum, contact the Aspen Hope Center at 970-925-5858.
Start a dialogue, stay on topic and be civil.
