Justin Doty celebration is Sunday
Friends and family of Justin Doty are invited to the Spread the Joy Party to celebrate his life, at his request, on the top of Aspen Mountain from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Attendees can take the gondola up, bring a picnic lunch or eat at the Sundeck restaurant until 3 p.m.

Parkinson help series Saturday in El Jebel
Parkinson Association of the Rockies will hold its “The Doctor Is In” seminar series from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the El Jebel Community Center, 0020 Eagle County Drive, El Jebel.
Registration is required and takes place from 9:45 to 10 a.m. Cost is free and lunch will be served.
The series was developed in order to provide educational resources to people with Parkinson’s and their families living in rural Colorado.
Saturday’s seminar will include speaker Dr. Monique Giroux, who will discuss deep brain stimulation and highlight common concerns, how to address these issues, as well as how to advocate for your health. The second speaker, Sierra Farris, will discuss healthy living after deep brain stimulation, including tips on keeping yourself healthy through exercise.
