Real estate office adds sales associates
The husband and wife team of Jim and Anita Bineau have joined Coldwell Banker Mason Morse as full-time sales associates working out of the Aspen office.
The Bineaus specialize in exclusive luxury residences, residential and commercial properties throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. They have more than two decades of experience in residential real estate sales.
Formerly associated with Aspen Real Estate Co., the Bineaus also owned a highly successful independently owned real estate company in northern New Jersey.
Coldwell Banker Mason Morse has a 52-year history in the Roaring Fork Valley. With four offices in Aspen, Carbondale, Redstone and Glenwood Springs as well as an onsite sales office at the Grand Hyatt Aspen, the company has 55 broker associates and 11 full-time employees.

Schachter celebrates 30th anniversary
Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc. announced that Sumner Schachter, senior vice president of investments and branch manager, is celebrating 30 years of serving investors in Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork Valley.
Schachter left a career as an educator to become a financial advisor in 1983. In 2003, he joined Stifel and established the firm’s Glenwood Springs office, where he was joined by longtime partner Michael McCallum, first vice president of investments and co-branch manager. 2013 marks the 15th anniversary of their partnership.
Together, they lead the area’s most experienced team of financial advisers with 89 years of combined industry experience.
Schachter has volunteered his time to a number of civic and volunteer organizations, including Literacy Outreach, the Roaring Fork School District, the Glenwood Springs Rotary and the Valley View Hospital Foundation Board. McCallum is the current board chairman of the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, past president of the Glenwood Springs High School Booster Club, past chairman of the city of Glenwood Springs Financial Advisory Board and past president of the Glenwood Springs Kiwanis.
