Boots and Buddies Ball a success
A recent inclusionary dance celebrating folks ages 10 and up with and without intellectual developmental disabilities was “an outstanding success,” according to Best Buddies Roaring Fork Valley.
The Boots and Buddies Ball, held on Saturday at The Arts Campus at Willits, brought together about 200 attendees from Parachute to Aspen.
“Families, friends, caretakers, and educators all came together to enjoy a lively evening filled with line dancing and music provided by Sway Tone DJ and a special performance by guest artist Tristan Trincado,” a news release states. “Trincado, who is in Nashville for his Gibson Guitar Showcase, signed autographs for fans.”
The main sponsor of the evening was The Little Nell and Chef Mathew Zubrod’s culinary team including Chef Aaron Williams of the Nell. The elevated Best Buddies events are complimentary to all attendees thanks to the generous support of the fundraising efforts at the Champion of the Year Gala, according to the release.
Contributors also include Aspen Community Foundation, Lotasi Designs, New York Pizza, Clark’s Market, Swaytone, Dakota Severe, Dance Aspen, Windwalkers, Dance Aspen, Cook Inclusive, and Zane’s Tavern.
