Boogie is the best

Expressing thanks isn’t easy for me. I worry about gushing too much, or sounding insincere. But here goes.

Ninety-nine cheers for Lenny Weinglass! This community is so fortunate. He could have chosen to live elsewhere and the Roaring Fork valley would have missed out.

He supports the activities of his own children, everyone expects that. But, he also supports just about any and every healthy kid-based activity in this valley. Thanks Mr. Weinglass. We notice, and boy do we appreciate it.

I’ve been in fund-raising meetings where we’ve agreed not to “hit up Boogie” because we don’t want to overdo it. Then, amazingly, Mr. Weinglass hears of an effort that will benefit local kids, and contributes generously, simply on his own.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer (imprisoned two years, hanged April 1945, Flossenburg Concentration Camp for plotting to kill Hitler) wrote: “The test of the morality of a society is what it does for its children.” Lenny Weinglass, you are an exceptionally moral man and an example for the rest of us.

Thank you, most sincerely!
