Bonnie’s Bash

The sixth annual Bonnie's Bash was a wintry one this year. (May Selby)

The sixth annual Bonnie’s Bash took place on Saturday, March 24, at Aspen’s beloved on-mountain restaurant. Though there are no guarantees in life, one safe bet is every other year of this party, the weathers is inclement. Despite rain, snow or any other act of God, however, hostess Sarah Manning has kept this spring ritual alive every year for friends and friends of friends. When it’s a nice spring day, the party’s held on the lower deck of the restaurant. When it’s snowing with little to no visibility, like it was this time around, everyone gathers inside.

As usual, the party started at noon and lasted until 4, when ski patrol escorted everyone out of the restaurant for a descent to the base.
