Bone-marrow drive set
A bone-marrow drive for Buttermilk ski instructor Todd “Toad” Olsen will take place Wednesday at Bumps restaurant at Buttermilk.
The drive will occur even though Olsen’s sister has been identified as a match for his bone-marrow transplant later this year. Olsen has been diagnosed with leukemia.
The drive, sponsored by Bonfils Colorado Marrow Donor Program, may aid others in need of transplants. The drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fee is $47.50 per person for the first 75 participants and free to Hispanics and other minorities who are especially needed in the program.
