Body found on No Name Trail near Glenwood

GLENWOOD SPRINGS – While assisting with the follow-up from the crash of a light plane in No Name Creek canyon that happened Saturday, Garfield County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday found the body of a man who had been reported missing from Glenwood Springs.
Around 2 p.m. Tuesday, deputies found the man’s body about one mile up the Jess Weaver Trail, according to a press release from the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office.
The man had been reported missing prior to Saturday afternoon, said Sheriff Lou Vallario.
There is no indication of foul play, according to the sheriff’s office, and the man’s death is not related to the plane crash.
The Garfield County Coroner’s Office was preparing a report Tuesday and is expected to release the man’s identity once relatives have been notified.
