Bob will be missed

I was saddened to learn recently that Snowmass Village Town Councilperson Bob Purvis will not be seeking election this November for another term.

As a close and active observer of the Town Council, I’m very impressed with Bob’s intelligent and fair approach to the debate, discussion and resolution of the wide variety of matters brought before the Town Council.

The interaction and balance between the mayor and all of the other councilpersons is admirable and a very significant benefit to this community.

Based upon my observations of other communities, this dynamic and very positive interplay between all of the council members will be hard to maintain as new councilpersons are seated on the Snowmass Town Council following the November election.

Bob Purvis plays a very significant role in this dynamic and he will be sorely missed. Bob has my thanks and gratitude for all of the time and energy he has devoted to Snowmass Village.

I wish him well on his future endeavors.
