Bob one of the best

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:Here at Mason & Morse Real Estate, we are stunned and deeply saddened by the untimely passing of our friend, leader and mentor, Bob George. Simply put, Bob was a remarkable human being who touched the lives of so many people in such a positive way. His contributions to the community of Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley are well documented. Anonymously, he quietly helped many in need with no fanfare. As a real estate professional, Bob set the highest standards for ethics and integrity, with his generous good nature. The door to his office was always open, whether it was brokers seeking his counsel or his beloved grandchildren visiting, all were welcome. Most of all, I will miss Bob roaming the office with his ever-present cup of coffee in hand, and asking us if we need anything, how we’re doing or sharing anecdotes.Aspen is a community of great people, and Bob George was one of the best. You cannot replace the loss of someone with such outstanding character. But we can aspire to emulate all the good that he stood for. I trust that the community of Aspen joins me in extending our heartfelt condolences to Bob’s wonderful family.Ed ForanAspen
