Bluegrass & barbecue
Aspen, CO Colorado
Lex and Nicole Tarumianz of Aspen hosted a summer celebration of sorts poolside at The Gant last Saturday. As The Gant’s director of sales and marketing, Lex had the pleasure of presenting the property in the near-final stages of its renovation at the summer shindig for their friends.
The Frying Pan Bluegrass Band entertained the crowd, which was comprised of 90 of the Tarumianzes’ closest friends. Since Nicole is expecting their second child in a matter of weeks, she wanted to have a poolside party before their family expansion. With the exception of a couple of adorable infants, kids and pets were left at home on this occasion so the adults could enjoy an evening together.
Lex planned the menu with his Tennessee palate, selecting everything from barbecue chicken to cole slaw to blueberry muffins to strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert. “I’d love to have this be an annual event,” said Nicole at night’s end. “Well, that’s up for debate,” countered Lex with a smile. “Maybe for your 50th.”
