Robin Gorog and her husband, Jim Jochem, of Snowmass Village, and Larry Bleiler and his wife Sharon, of Atlanta, are delighted to announce the engagement of their second son, Scott Patrick Bleiler to Wendy Kay Tennery. Wendy is the daughter of Michael C. Tennery Sr., of Hayden, Idaho, and the late Kay Henderson Tennery of Birmingham, Ala., and the granddaughter of Rachel Tennery also of Hayden.
Scott graduated from Aspen High School in 1995 and then graduated from Georgia State University with a B.A. in journalism in 2001. Wendy graduated from Vestavia Hills High School and went on to graduate from the University of Montevallo with a B.A. in communications. She lived in Washington D.C., New York City and Los Angeles before returning to Atlanta in 2002.
Wendy and Scott both work at CNN in Atlanta. Wendy is a senior editor/producer and edits a variety of shows on the domestic side including “CNN Presents” and “CNN: Special Investigative Unit.” Scott is a producer/writer/editor for CNN International and works in on-air promotions.
They are currently living in Atlanta and have two dogs, Miss Wiley Mae and Teddy, who love flyfishing as much as Wendy and Scott do.
They will be married in Aspen on Sept. 20, and everyone is hoping that Wendy’s 99-year-old Grandmother Rachel will be able to attend.
