Black gold

Dear Editor:

At last providence backs me up when I related the Aspen business community and the rest of the business communities in “the Valley” that they should cater/market to the petroleum industry as a sensible market niche.

Beginning on June 7 the St. Regis Hotel-Aspen will be the epicenter for the annual meeting of the illustrious Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States.

Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States Chairman/President Logan Magruder and I found out we talk the same petroleum language and similar oil and industry historical perspective when we first met. This is what happens when the spirits of John D. Rockefeller and J. Paul Getty keep guiding me and because I did my serious petroleum geology and petroleum industry studies long ago.

Fortune-telling is quite telling, so please be nice, humble, thoughtful and courteous to Mr. Logan Magruder, IPAMS Director Marc Smith and all the rest of the bankers and boys and girls from the oil patches from across states.

Do remember every day is a “Rockefeller Day” in America. “Standard Oil Trust” me.

Oil gushers are all around me. “Black Gold” is “Solid Gold.”
