Birth announcement
We are extremely psyched to announced the birth of Hank Joseph Simon, to parents Melissa Hisel and Jeremy Simon of Carbondale, at 4:11 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. Hank at birth weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Proud grandparents are Wendy Gera of Battlement Mesa, Joe Hisel of Rifle, and Karen and Bruce Simon of Westfield, N.J.

It was standing room only Tuesday evening as Aspen residents packed into the Pearl Pass conference room of City Hall for a conversation around emergency preparedness.
