Big deal: Highlands base

ASPEN ” The commercial real estate at the base of Aspen Highlands changed hands last week for $13 million.

Local businessman Jordan Sarick, who controls Eastwood Developments, a family-owned real estate development and investment company, bought the commercial property at the bottom of Aspen Highlands from Hines, Hines Highlands Limited Partnership and Bell Mountain Partners, which owns Aspen Skiing Co. on Nov. 15.
