ASPEN ” The owner of Aspen’s venerable Crystal Palace has sold the downtown commercial building next door to the dinner theater for $4 million. Is the palace next?

Known as the Grand Finale building, the commercial structure’s owner is controlled by Mead Metcalf, who also owns the Crystal Palace next door. The Crystal Palace deal has yet to close, but is under contract for a reported $11 million to the same buyer, who is controlled by Linden Nelson and based in Michigan.
