Big chill in Aspen forecast

ASPEN – Near-record cold temperatures are forecast in Aspen Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

A low of minus 14 is expected, but the wind chill will make it feel like minus 25, the weather service said.

Sunny skies and a high of 15 are forecast on Tuesday, but with a wind-chill value as low as minus 25. A low near zero is expected Tuesday night, but temperatures will climb into the 30s on Wednesday, the weather service said.

Clear skies and daytime highs in the 30s will continue through the coming weekend, according to the weather service.
