Better vs. bigger
Why must voters dedicate so much time and energy to issues such as saving the seven protected viewplanes established in the 1970s from becoming a vision of the past, saving Shadow Mountain from monster homes, saving the back bowl of Deer Hill from becoming a suburb, saving the open space zoning requirements that led to Zele and Paradise from becoming a cash-in-lieu payment by right, saving the Marolt-Thomas open space from a highway, and on and on?
Think of the hours we could all enjoy if instead we elect leaders that will work together to make Aspen better without needing to make Aspen bigger.
