Aspen Times Staff Report

The Aspen Times is once again holding its annual contest to find out what is best about Aspen.

For the past two weeks we’ve been running ballots in our Monday, Wednesday and Friday issues, asking readers to judge just exactly what is Aspen’s best. Topics range from the best restaurant to the best ski run to the best place to find a one-night stand.

Response so far has been, shall we say, less than stellar. And, frankly, with next Wednesday’s deadline fast approaching, we’re getting a little worried. We’d hate to publish what’s best about Aspen based on a handful of responses.

So we’re asking (actually begging) our readers to fill out the ballot in today’s paper on page C31 and drop it by our office on Main Street. Or better yet, stop at our front desk and pick up a stack of copies and hand them out to all your friends.

Ballots need to be returned by the end of the day on Wednesday, July 16.
