Bert J. Maxon, 85, beloved husband of Carol, nee Levy; devoted father of Linda (Robert) Thompson and Janet (Rick) Hyken; cherished grandfather of Steven Thompson, Tracy (Christopher) Jerard, Todd, (Katie) and Brian Hyken; dear brother of Margot (the late Herbert) Fleck; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service is Thursday at 1 p.m. at Temple Jeremiah, 937 N. Happ Road, Northfield Ill., 60093. Private interment was held earlier.
