Benefit set for the Bramsons

Staff report

A medical fundraising benefit will take place for Bennett and Jessica Bramson from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at El Jebowl in El Jebel.

Both Bramsons are facing medical procedures, and their expenses likely will exceed their health care coverage by tens of thousands of dollars if not six figures, according to the organizer of the fundraiser and friend of the Bramsons, Trudi Watkins-Johnson.

The event will include a barbecue buffet, drinks, Bowling for Dollars and a silent auction offering everything from restaurant certificates and salon treatments to a seven-day stay at a cottage on Martha’s Vineyard. A donation of $25 or more is being requested.

Those unable to attend can donate to the Bennett and Jessica Bramson Medical Fund at any Bank of Colorado or Alpine Bank in the Roaring Fork Valley.

All funds raised will be used exclusively to cover medical costs.
