Begging for an unblocked view

Dear Editor:

Directed to City Council:

Regarding the Lift One project plan, South Aspen Street must NOT be curved, because that will totally obliterate the view of Aspen Mountain from below. Nothing should be decided until the important decision is made to give us back the view plane of Aspen Street, not obstructed. A winding street could be charming somewhere in Aspen, but NOT where it obliterates the view of the mountain from below. Surely your conscience dictates that you leave Aspen Street where it is, unobstructed. I’m begging here.
