Battlement Mesa Kum-N-Go robbed

BATTLEMENT MESA, Colo. ” Two people wearing ski masks robbed a Kum-N-Go convenience store in Battlement Mesa Sunday night.
The robbery occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. near at the corner of Tamarisk Trail and Stone Quarry Road.
A clerk was held at gunpoint, and the suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Garfield County Crime Stoppers is searching for information that will lead to arrest and prosecution of suspects. Anyone can remain anonymous and earn up to $1,000 by calling 945-0101.
Battlement Mesa is located west of Rifle, in western Colorado.
