Basalt Town Council honors students of the month

BASALT – The Town Council honored six students from Basalt’s public schools this week in recognition of their achievements. The council and schools work together to honor students based on the Six Pillars of Character. The March characteristic was citizenship.

The students honored from Basalt Elementary School were Ellie Touchette and Tyler Ribich.

From Basalt Middle School, Ian Lumsden and Alyssa Maniscalchi were honored.

The honorees from Basalt High School were Rachel Kading and Kerry Reynolds. They could not attend the ceremony at Tuesday’s council meeting.
