BASALT – The following calls were made to the Basalt Fire Department from May 14 through Sunday.

May 14 at 3:13 p.m. – Responded to a medical call on East Cody Lane for a person having a seizure. The patient was transported to the hospital

May 16 at 7:30 a.m. – Responded to a medical call on Pinion Drive for a person having difficulty breathing. The patient was transported to the hospital.

May 16 at 1:20 p.m. – Responded to a medical call at Basalt High School for a person experiencing anxiety. The person was evaluated and released.

May 16 at 7:30 p.m. – Responded to a medical call on Lakeside Court for an unknown problem. The patient was transported to the hospital.

May 17 at 6:30 a.m. – A person walked into the Basalt Fire Station in El Jebel for an unknown problem. The person was evaluated and refused transport.

Saturday at 8:06 p.m. – Responded to a mutual-aid medical call with Carbondale Fire at Cerise Ranch for a semiconscious person. Carbondale Fire transported the patient to the hospital.

Sunday at 6:21 p.m. – Fire crews responded to Lewis Lane for a smoke report. The property owner was having a campfire.
