Basalt Fire Department calls
BASALT – The following are the fire and medical calls that the Basalt Fire Department received between April 30 and May 5:
April 30 at 11:36 a.m.: Dispatched to Two Rivers Road for a clothes drier that was smoking from a burned-out motor.
May 1 at 10:57 a.m.: Responded to a medical call in Missouri Heights for a person complaining of pain. The patient was transported to the hospital.
May 2 at 10:42 p.m.: Responded to a medical call on Cody Lane for a person complaining of chest pain. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Thursday at 12:08 p.m.: Responded to a medical call on Homestead Lane for a bicycle accident. One patient was transported to the hospital.
Thursday at 4:58 p.m.: Responded to 21050 Highway 82 for a vehicle accident. One person was extricated and transported to the hospital.
Friday at 1:32 p.m.: Responded to Park Avenue for a fire-alarm malfunction.
Friday at 2:33 p.m.: Responded to a medical call on El Jebel Road for a person who had fallen. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Friday at 3:34 p.m.: Responded to Willits Lane for a ruptured gas line. Fire crews evacuated some residents and assisted Source Gas with containing the leak.
Friday at 9:08 p.m.: Responded to a medical call on Midland Avenue and provided first aid for an injury.
Saturday at 9:13 a.m.: Responded to a medical call in Missouri Heights for a person having a seizure. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Saturday at 8:20 p.m.: Responded to a medical call in Basalt for a person under the influence. The patient was transported to the hospital.
