Basalt fire calls Oct. 26 to Nov. 3.

The following are fire and medical calls to the Basalt Fire Department between Oct. 26 and Saturday:

Oct. 26: Stand-by at a Basalt High School athletic event.

Oct. 27: Transported a patient from Floyd Drive in El Jebel to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Oct. 28: Treated a patient on West Sopris Creek Road. The patient refused transport.

Oct. 29: Transported a patient from Basalt to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Oct. 29: Treated a patient at Basalt High School and released the patient to parents.

Oct. 30: Transported a patient from the Basalt After Hours Clinic to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Oct. 31: Transported a patient from Basalt High School.

Oct. 31: Performed a public standby in Basalt and transported a walk-up trauma patient to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Nov. 1: Assisted the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office and the regional Hazardous Materials and Bomb Squad with multiple explosive devices found in the Blue Lake subdivision. The hazards were disposed of without incident.

Nov. 2: Call to Escalante Drive for a report of a fire. The on-call fire officer found it was a controlled event.

Saturday: Report of a smoke plume near River Oaks Drive was found to be a controlled burn.
