Basalt fire calls, Oct. 15-21

BASALT – The Basalt Fire Department responded to the following calls last week:

Oct. 15 at 11:34 a.m. – Responded to Snowmass Creek Road for a non-injury vehicle accident.

Oct. 15 at 3:16 p.m. – Responded to Kings Row for a natural-gas leak. Fire crews mitigated the hazard and notified Source Gas.

Oct. 18 at 3:39 p.m. – Responded to School Street for a traumatic injury. One patient was transported to the hospital.

Oct. 18 at 11:22 p.m. – Responded to Valley Road for a medical problem.

Oct. 19 at 12:51 p.m. – Responded to El Jebel Road for a non-injury vehicle accident. A small spill was removed.

Oct. 19 at 7:07 p.m. – Responded to Elk Lane for a cooking fire. The occupant extinguished the fire, and crews investigated for any extension.

Sunday at 8:18 a.m. – Responded to Lauren Lane for a report of an order. No hazards were found.

Sunday at 6:12 p.m. – Responded to Beaver Lane for an obvious death.
