BASALT – Following are the fire and medical calls that the Basalt Fire Department responded to between Aug. 21 and Sunday:
Aug. 21 at 12:53 a.m.: Responded to Riverside Drive for a person under the influence of alcohol. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Aug. 21 at 5:56 p.m.: Responded to the Roaring Fork Mobile Home Park for a child having seizures. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Aug. 21 at 8:40 p.m.: Responded to Gold Rivers Court for an odor of natural gas. No hazards were found.
Aug. 22 at 3:08 p.m.: Responded to 29000 Highway 82 for a one-vehicle accident. The driver and passengers fled the scene.
Aug. 22 at 3:35 p.m.: Responded to Highway 82 for a bicycle accident. One patient was transported to the hospital.
Aug. 23 at 5:31 a.m.: Responded to Upper Cattle Creek for a vehicle accident. No one was on scene.
Friday at 2:45 a.m.: Responded to Prentice Trail for a person with a head injury from a previous vehicle accident. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Saturday at 1:35 a.m.: Responded to 19000 Highway 82 for a person under the influence of alcohol. The person was released to friends.
Saturday at 4:33 p.m.: Responded to 23000 Highway 82 for a person with difficulty breathing. The person was evaluated and released.
Sunday at 9:19 a.m.: Responded to Snowmass Creek Road for a smoke alarm. The cause was a pot of food burning on the stove.
