BASALT – The following are the emergency calls to which the Basalt Fire Department responded from April 15 through Saturday:
April 15 at 5:52 a.m.: Medical call to Ridge Road for abdominal pain.
April 15 at 9:06 p.m.: Noninjury vehicle accident at 28000 Highway 82.
April 15 at 10:23 p.m.: Obvious death on Devon Court.
April 16 at 12:14 p.m.: Medical call to Silverado Drive for a breathing problem.
April 16 at 3:53 p.m.: Vehicle versus power pole at 24000 Highway 82. Patient was treated for injuries and released.
April 17 at 11:17 a.m.: Medical call to Elk Run Drive for a cardiac problem.
April 17 at 1:01 p.m.: Medical call to Southside Drive for a seizure.
April 17 at 11:41 p.m.: Medical call to Homestead Drive for heart palpitations.
April 18 at 11:48 p.m.: Medical call to Southside Drive for abdominal pain.
April 18 at 12:30 p.m.: Medical call to Original Road for a cardiac problem.
April 19 at 11:36 a.m.: Medical call to Evans Court for chest pain.
April 19 at 1:51 a.m.: Medical call to Wild Spring Lane for chest pain.
April 19 at 2:52 p.m.: A power line was down and arcing at 27500 Highway 82 and Lower River Road. Fire crews secured the scene until Holy Cross Electric arrived.
April 19 at 2:56 a.m.: Medical call to 19000 Highway 82 for a person under the influence.
April 19 at 6:44 p.m.: False alarm.
April 19 at 10:19 p.m.: Medical call to Original Road for a cardiac problem.
Saturday at 5:34 p.m.: Fire call to Willits and Highway 82 for a vehicle fire. Crews extinguished the blaze.
Saturday at 7:13 p.m.: Fire call to the Roaring Fork Mobile Home Park for an odor of gas. No hazards were found.
