BASALT – The Basalt Fire Department responded to the following calls between June 12 and Monday:
June 12 at 7:30 a.m.: Responded to the Rio Grande bike path for a bicycle accident, but the call was canceled at the scene.
June 12 at 11:03 a.m.: Responded to Woods Lake for a person who had fallen from a horse. The patient was transported by air ambulance.
June 12 at 2:24 p.m.: Responded to Thomasville for a one-vehicle accident. One person refused treatment and transport.
June 12 at 9:35 p.m.: Responded to East Valley Road for a medical problem. The patient was transported to the hospital.
June 14 at 10:51 a.m.: Responded to East Homestead Drive for a leaking natural-gas line. Fire crews stood by while SourceGas made repairs.
Friday at 8:25 a.m.: Responded to 23500 Highway 82 for a one-vehicle accident. There were no injuries and no transport.
Friday at 6:44 p.m.: Responded to Willits Lane for a citizen assist.
Friday at 9:50 p.m.: Responded to Silverado Drive for a person with difficulty breathing. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Saturday at 11:13 a.m.: Dispatched to Holland Hills for a smoke report. No smoke was observed.
Saturday at 3:21 p.m.: Responded to Pine Ridge Road for a possible stroke. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Saturday at 11:17 p.m.: Dispatched to Hillcrest Drive for a smell of smoke. No smoke was observed.
Sunday at 10:08 a.m.: Responded to Park Avenue for a person who had fallen and couldn’t get up.
Monday at 8:52 a.m.: Responded to Mockingbird Lane for a diabetes problem. The patient was evaluated and released.
